Rocking Chair from the Frances and Paul Hitchcock house, 388 Seawall Rd., Includes 14"x14" pad. Note on bottom of seat: "Belonged to Experience (Bardwell) Andrews (Spike's great great grandmother). Born in Shelburne, Mass, 1789. Died in Deerfield, 1885, age 96. She rocked in this chair up to time of her death. Worn rockers replaced by Paul Hitchcock." "Spike" refers to Paul and Frances Hitchcock's son Allan.
