Sea chest belonging to Epps L. Hadlock, 1829-09-19 to 1907-10-06, and Hide Hadlock. Used to store personal items when on sea voyages. Epps Hadlock is reported (Thornton) to have made and set the first lobster trap in Southwest Harbor, April 16, 1854. Six board pine, painted gray.
