All canes are property of the Town of Southwest Harbor. Recipients have included Jacob Schoppy Mayo 1818-1912 [See SWPL 14165], Elizabeth Thurston King 1905-2009, Mary Orcutt Harkins 1919- . At present recipiant asked not to have cane at her house. Both replicas at Historical Society in 2018. |
